CinePunked presents Masters of Cinema workshops

This autumn CinePunked present a series of one-off workshops at the Crescent Arts Centre in Belfast introducing attendees to some of the Masters of Cinema – Alfred Hitchcock, Steven Spielberg, Wes Anderson and Frank Capra.
Through analysis of clips, a little film history and a lot of guided discussion, you’ll learn how to apply the language of film analysis in engaging with and fully appreciating a master at work. No experience needed to take part, just enthusiasm – though a little familiarity with some of the directors’ films will help. Each session is led by CinePunked’s Robert JE Simpson and Dr Rachael Kelly, who have years of experience of delivering workshops.
The workshops run on Sunday 13 October (Alfred Hitchcock), Sunday 10 November (Steven Spielberg), Sunday 1 December (Wes Anderson), and a Christmas special on Tuesday 17 December (Its A Wonderful Life / Frank Capra). Each workshop is a stand-alone, and can be pre-booked via the links below.
