CinePunked presents more Masters of Cinema workshops for 2020

Following a successful run last autumn, CinePunked returns to the Crescent Arts Centre in Belfast for a continuing series of one-off interactive workshops in 2020 introducing attendees to some more of the Masters of Cinema – Tim Burton, Charlie Chaplin and Orson Welles.
Through analysis of clips, a little film history and a lot of guided discussion, you’ll learn how to apply the language of film analysis in engaging with and fully appreciating a master at work. No experience needed to take part, just enthusiasm – though a little familiarity with some of the directors’ films will help. Each session is led by CinePunked’s Robert JE Simpson and Dr Rachael Kelly, who have years of experience of delivering workshops.
The workshops run on Sunday 19 January (Tim Burton), Sunday 16 February (Charlie Chaplim), and Sunday 5 April (Orson Welles). Each workshop is a stand-alone, and can be pre-booked individually via the links below.
