For the last couple of years, while the main CinePunked podcast has been on hiatus, we’ve been working with Accidental Theatre in Belfast on the podcast accompanying their monthly film screenings – ‘Never Seen It Film Club’. Season 5 has now launched in video form on YouTube and in audio form on Spotify and wherever else you get your podcast fix.

SLEEVE NOTES
We’re recording this season of Never Seen It slightly out of sequence owing to scheduling issues. While the intention is still to record an episode for every film that Accidental screen, some titles may be missed. And as spooky season was upon us, we double billed this studio session with Beetlejuice, and the next title to be screened – Joe Dante’s The Burbs.
We never really know where the conversation will take us during a Never Seen It session, and this one dips into some of the more controversial elements.
The episode was recorded in Accidental’s in house studios and produced and edited by them. In an attempt to tighten the production times (which has been increasing of late), this is a straight conversation without any of the usual inserts. Its an experiment, so let’s see how it plays out.
