CinePunked are pleased to have been invited to present one our panel discussions at the inaugural Dark Hedges Film Festival. Set up by Northern Irish film website Banterflix, the festival “aims to present an eclectic mix of genre movies, old and new to audiences in Belfast and across the UK and Ireland”.
The unique challenges of running a film festival in Northern Ireland during the pandemic amid ever-changing government restrictions has meant that the festival has moved to an online-environment for the duration of the festival (24-31 October 2020), with content available via the Dark Hedges Facebook page and a custom digital player on the Dark Hedges website.
CinePunked’s panel on the ‘Horror of Isolation’ features our own Robert JE Simpson alongside two new faces to the CinePunked fold – writers Keri O’Shea (Warped Perspective) and David L Rattigan. The panel is available during the festival via the festival player.
